How luxurious touches are making Delta’s onboard experience as enjoyable as your destination.
Time spent in the air should be time well spent. That’s why U.S. airline Delta is enhancing customers’ experience at 30,000 feet with thoughtful details, premium cabins and restaurant-style dining to make every trip truly special on flights from Edinburgh.
More than a seat
Delta’s fleet of new and recently refurbished aircraft feature up to four cabin experiences: Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin.
Delta One fully flat-bed seats with individual aisle access and luxuriously soft bedding made using 100% recycled materials make it easy to settle in and enjoy every moment of the flight. New Missoni-designed amenity kits will feature Grown Alchemist skin care products, while noise cancelling headsets help make 1,000+ hours of Delta Studio entertainment even more enjoyable.
Delta Premium Select is a new superior cabin that offers enhanced comfort on international routes. Wider seats offer more legroom and a deeper recline, with adjustable leg rests and footrests to help customers really stretch out and put their feet up. There’s allocated overhead storage for carry-on items and access to select Sky Priority® services at the airport. Delta Premium Select will debut this autumn on flights between New York-JFK and Los Angeles – enhancing the travel experience even further for customers connecting from Scotland.
Haute cuisine with altitude
When it comes to in-flight cuisine, Delta is taking onboard service to new heights. The airline works with a team of culinary experts, including award-winning chefs, to create a restaurant-like experience at cruising altitude. Customers flying in Delta One on international routes experience a multi-course meal service, appealingly presented on fine china and paired with a selection of fine wines.
In Delta Premium Select, customers enjoy an upgraded dining experience. Just like Delta One customers, those flying in Delta Premium Select may now select their preferred entrée up to seven days before they fly.
A wider network
With daily service from Edinburgh to New York-JFK and seasonal nonstop flights to Atlanta and Boston, Delta offers a vast network of onward connections to destinations across the United States and beyond. Top connections for customers flying from Scotland include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Orlando. Meanwhile, Delta’s partnership with Joint Venture partners, Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic also means convenient connections to a vast network of cities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia via Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Paris-CDG.
Introducing Premium Lounges
Delta One customers flying from New York-JFK can look forward to an upgraded experience on the ground with a new, heightened level of service and hospitality in New York-JFK and soon to Los Angeles and Boston. The recently opened premium lounge at Delta’s JFK hub, features a full-service brasserie and casual, chef-assisted dining with open kitchens, dedicated wellness areas and more.
