Inside the Future of Events in Fife: Brand-New Carnegie Conference and Events Centre

This autumn, Fife College is opening the doors to the Carnegie Conference and Events Centre (CCEC) – a landmark new venue at the heart of Fife.

Set to become a flagship conference and events venue for the city – with four impressive event spaces, nine flexible meeting rooms, and capacity for up to 1,000 delegates – it will feature a spacious central atrium, ideal for exhibitions, networking events, and large-scale gatherings beyond college hours. It’ll also include relaxation spaces and high-quality hospitality.

Located just a short distance from its predecessor – the Carnegie Conference Centre – the new CCEC heralds a major uplift in space, style, and visitor experience. With a choice of spaces ranging from large conference halls and exhibition areas to smaller meeting rooms, the new Centre is designed to suit events of every scale.

Adding even more versatility, the CCEC boasts an outdoor plaza, offering a distinctive space with real character – perfect for everything from relaxed social events to major festivals and markets.

Beyond these headline features, the new Centre is set to play an important role in Fife’s growth, attracting events to the region while offering benefits for local businesses and the wider community alike. From large corporate conferences, trade shows, and award ceremonies to intimate meetings, training sessions and networking events, the venue offers a setting that’s adaptable to the needs of every organiser.

It will also provide a welcoming backdrop for weddings, cultural festivals, community gatherings and private celebrations, ensuring that the Carnegie Conference and Events Centre becomes a hub for both business and social life in Fife.

Highlighting the significance of the new facilities, Fife College Principal Jim Metcalfe said: “We are excited to share details about the new Carnegie Conference and Events Centre at our Dunfermline City Campus.

“This exceptional facility forms part of the campus’ wider offering to help local organisations and businesses thrive, which also includes access to industry-standard workshops, modern learning environments, and an immersive training skills centre.

“We look forward to welcoming organisations, businesses and guests from across the region and beyond as we prepare to open our doors.”

Amenities at the new Centre will include free on-site parking and updated catering menus to suit a wide range of tastes and events.
