Rhian Morgan wins Best Female Financial Advisor at Women in Finance Awards 2025

Rhian Morgan, Director and Chartered & Certified Financial Planner, has been named ‘Best Female Financial Advisor’ at the BWS Women in Finance Awards 2025.

Held on Thursday 22nd May in Glasgow and hosted by broadcaster Rachel McTavish, the awards celebrated women shaping Scotland’s finance industry. The event recognised leaders across sectors including fintech, corporate finance, and ethical investment, highlighting Scotland’s influence in global finance and the importance of gender diversity in traditionally male-dominated fields.

The Best Female Financial Advisor award honours a professional who consistently delivers exceptional service and expertise in helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Rhian, the first female director at her firm, leads a portfolio of 100 clients and was instrumental in launching its Family Wealth service in 2024. She remains committed to mentoring others in a profession where women represent just 16% of advisors*.

On receiving the award, Rhian said: “I’m absolutely thrilled and honoured to receive this award from BWS, and to be among such inspiring women. The industry has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, and I feel so lucky to have achieved what I have with Acumen Financial Planning. I still love my job every day – and this award is the icing on the cake!”

This accolade follows Acumen Financial Planning’s recent recognition, including Accredited Firm of the Year (CISI) for a third time in October 2024, and the New Model Advisor Award (Scotland & NI) in January 2025 – for the sixth time.
