Businesses were out in force at one of the highlights of the Dunbartonshire business calendar recently.

Around 100 guests came together for the annual Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lunch at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel (GJCH).

Guests were treated to some insights and inspiration from guest speakers, Louise Harkiss and Derek Mair who spoke about the Knowledge Transfer Partnership and how to have a successful mindset going into 2024.

The event was compered by Denis Flanagan, Commercial and Logistics Director (GJCH), and the lunch was rounded up with Vote of Thanks by Damon Scott, Chief Executive, Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce.

The lunch also received backing from Clydebank-based, facilities management company, Sectorserve Group, who were the Headline Sponsor as well as from event sponsor, SkyAdsmart and event partner, the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.

As part of its Armed Forces Programme, ChamberFORCE, the Chamber raised £1250 for Erskine Veterans Charity, as the nominated charity for the 2023 lunch raffle.

Damon Scott, Chamber Chief Executive, said: “The lunch was another fantastic Chamber event that brought our wonderful business community together to celebrate at the end of the year.

“We are incredibly grateful for all the support we received to make the event such a success including headline sponsorship from Sectorserve Group as well as from Adsmart from Sky and the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel. As a not-for-profit organisation sponsorship of this kind is really important to help support our ongoing activities to make a positive impact on our local economy and communities.”

“We also had some amazing raffle prizes thanks to the generosity of our fantastic network and were delighted to raise £1250 in support of Erskine Veterans Charity.”

“We continue to be immensely thankful to our members and partners who support the chamber across the year. We are continuing to develop the chamber as “Stakeholder” organisation with members playing an increasingly active and important part and look forward to growing the organisation and our network in 2024.”
