U.S. airline offering up to three daily nonstop flights from Scotland

A new nonstop link between Scotland and the southern United States is opening this spring, as U.S. carrier, Delta Air Lines, starts a new route from Edinburgh to Atlanta, Georgia. Starting 26 May, the new flight complements the airline’s existing schedule of daily nonstop services to New York-JFK. Meanwhile, Delta’s flight from Edinburgh to Boston resumes on 9 May, offering even more chances to get away to the United States for business or leisure.

Unrivalled options

With nonstop services to three U.S. gateways, Delta offers onward connections to more destinations across the United States and beyond than any other airline from Scotland. This includes one-stop connections to the west coast cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco or the national parks of the Mountain West region, while the beaches and world-famous theme parks of Florida are only a short hop from Atlanta.

The U.S. is the top market for international inbound visitors to Scotland, with Americans accounting for 18% of all international visits in 2019. Delta’s Atlanta flight will provide access for thousands of Americans looking to enjoy Scotland’s historic cities, scenery, golf and outdoor activities, boosting the local economy.
