Discover the Delta difference from Scotland

With nonstop flights from Edinburgh to the Big Apple, plus seasonal services to Atlanta and Boston, Delta is helping support trade and commerce between Scotland and the United States.

Last year, the U.S. was the top market for international inbound visitors to Scotland, with Americans accounting for 20% of all international visits in 2023 and 34% of all overseas spend. This summer, Delta’s services between Scotland and the United States have provided greater access for thousands more Americans looking to enjoy Scotland’s rich history, scenery, golf and outdoor activities.

A seat for every style

Delta is making significant investments in the air and on the ground to make travel more enjoyable rather than simply getting from A to B. Delta’s Edinburgh flights offer all four cabin experiences: Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin.

Delta One features fully flat-bed seats with individual aisle access, generous work and storage space, plus oversized entertainment screens that create the perfect environment for work or relaxation. Memory foam mattresses and soft bedding made from recycled materials make for sounder sleep, while new Missoni-designed amenity kits bring haute couture to the cabin.

Delta Premium Select is a popular option for business travellers. The cabin features wider seats offer more legroom and recline, plus adjustable leg- and footrests, allocated overhead storage and larger seat-back screens. When it’s time to sleep, customers can stretch out with a comfortable blanket and memory foam pillow. An artisan-made amenity kit includes essentials such as a toothbrush and toothpaste, eyeshades and ear plugs.

Experience elevated

Delta One customers enjoy chef-curated menus that can be pre-selected in advance of travel. Created using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Delta One meals are accompanied by a selection of hand-picked fine wines.

On the ground, Delta One customers enjoy access to airport lounges and SkyPriorityÂŽ services, including check in, boarding and baggage handling, helps expedite their airport experience.

Delta Premium Select customers enjoy a deliciously enhanced dining experience with meals presented on eco-conscious service-ware. Customers flying in Delta One and Delta Premium Select can pre-select their preferred entrĂŠe in advance of travel.

Lounge luxury

Delta customers can look forward to an upgraded experience at New York-JFK where the recently opened Delta One Lounge is bringing a new, heightened level of service and hospitality. The new Delta One Lounge features a full-service brasserie and casual, chef-assisted dining with open kitchens, dedicated wellness areas and more. Two further Delta One Lounges are planned for Boston and Los Angeles.

Out of office, not offline

As well as convenient connections via its U.S. hubs, Delta is rolling out free Wi-Fi on international routes in addition to free mobile messaging via iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Each customer has access to in-seat power, so they can keep electronic devices fully charged.

Seat-back entertainment screens at every seat feature 1,000+ hours of Delta Studio movies, TV shows and specially curated Spotify podcasts and playlists. To make customer’s onboard experience more personalized, Delta Sync is seamlessly integrated with SkyMiles® membership and the Fly Delta app.

Travel innovation

To make travel smoother across their journey, the Fly Delta app is packed with handy features such as flight status updates, wayfinding maps, upgrades, rebooking and more to enable customers to manage their travel on the go. The app offers a virtual queuing tool, so customers know exactly when to head to the gate and even syncs to the RFID bag tags on checked bags, so customers can pinpoint their suitcase’s location.

Extra connections

Delta offers convenient one-stop services from Edinburgh to destinations across the United States via New York JFK, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Detroit. All Delta’s services are operated in conjunction with joint venture partners Virgin Atlantic and Air France KLM, which offer even more connecting opportunities for customers across Scotland.
