The sold-out Fife Business Awards, in association with Blackadders and Henderson Loggie, took place on Friday, May 19, at The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews.

The Award Ceremony continues to grow year on year, this year seeing the venue at capacity with 410 guests coming together to recognise the best in Fife Business. The evening, once again hosted by Fred MacAulay, treated guests to an array of entertainment, of fine food, and most importantly, celebrated the determination and resilience of businesses from all sectors, across Fife.

There were 13 awards presented to businesses of all sizes, from all sectors across Fife, as well as three highly commended awards where it was almost too close to call, plus the coveted Outstanding Business Award, chosen at the discretion of Fife Council, and a select judging panel. The award recognises outstanding achievement of a business that is exemplary in their field. A business that demonstrates excellence across a range of business areas. Scooping the 2023 Outstanding business Award was Haldane UK.

A Special Recognition Award was presented to Greens Retail Ltd, who despite just missing out on meeting all of the criteria, the judges, following the behind the scenes visit, were left in awe of the palpable spirit, drive, endeavour, and resilience, and shared the firm conviction that they should be recognised in some way.

The event raffle raised £3,735.00 for our charity members, which is a tribute to the generosity of Chamber members who contributed the brilliant array of prizes and the guests who raised such as magnificent sum. The money will be distributed later in the year.

Winners were treated to a champagne reception in the Winners Press Room, hosted by Condies Accountants and Advisors. Watch out for the interviews, conducted immediately after they won their awards, on Fife Chamber’s social media.
