Mearns & Company, a multi award winning Chartered wealth management and employee benefits consultancy based in Edinburgh, is pleased to welcome the appointment of Alan Fergusson as a Non-Executive Director.
Alan has over 20 years’ worth of experience in the Financial Services industry. He was recently the Employee Benefits Managing Director at Mattioli Woods until May last year. Before that, Alan was with Kudos Financial Services, helping to oversee its growth over the course of 11 years before it was sold to Mattioli Woods.
At Mattioli Woods, Alan was involved in a wide range of projects and opportunities including strategic development, and harmonisation of propositions around acquisitions.
Alan has interests in the wider business community as well. He was a board member at Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, and at the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), both of which provided him with experiences across a broad range of industries and entrepreneurial led firms.
