Glasgow Science Centre CEO Dr. Stephen Breslin is joined by Ruby Wallace (age 7) & Sonny Wallace (age 5) to launch "Our World Our Impact" at The Glasgow Science Centre.

The Glasgow Science Centre will be the venue for the Green Zone at COP26, the crucial United Nations Climate Change Conference set to be hosted by the UK in Glasgow this November.

The Green Zone is where the public, civil society, Indigenous Peoples, youth groups, charities, academics, artists and businesses can have their voices heard at COP26, through an extensive programme of events, workshops, talks and exhibitions that promote dialogue, awareness, education and commitments.

It will operate from 1-12 November 2021and expects to host over 200 events and around 300 organisations looking to tackle climate change.

The Green Zone is managed by the UK Government, which has announced the programme today. Tickets will be available via the COP26 website on 11 October 2021.

COP26 President-Designate Alok Sharma said:

Glasgow Science Centre closes to the public on 18 October and open as the COP26 Green Zone 1-12 November. The UK Government will oversee all ticketing and admissions for the Green Zone.
