Teams of work colleagues from across the country have signed up to Paths for All’s Step Count Challenge – and it’s not too late to join them.

With just a few days to go before the challenge starts, the walking charity is calling on more work mates to set up a team of five and sign up to enjoy eight weeks of motivation, moving more and connecting with colleagues.

Beginning on October 5, the Step Count Challenge offers everyone a way to stay active in a fun social way as the days get shorter and the nights get colder.

Registered teams will have access to a revamped Step Count website where they can log steps, sync fitness trackers, message team mates, and chart their progress on the leader board.

Everyone taking part in the Step Count Challenge will be motivated to reach and exceed goals with blogs, tips, and themed mini challenges as well as being automatically entered into prize draws worth hundreds of pounds each week.

This year’s prizes come from a host of Scottish businesses including Trakke, Skye Weavers and Scottish Cut Flowers.

To sign up, visit www.stepcount.org.uk to register a team for £30.
