Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, will open its seventh UK Space in the Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow replacing its temporary pop-up location at the popular destination.

The Polestar Space will be the very first of its kind in Scotland as the brand continues to change the traditional automotive retail model by championing direct to consumer, digital sales first approach. The opening of the Space is timed perfectly ahead of a wave of new product including Polestar 3 and 4 arriving this year.

The Space will feature state-of-the-art minimalist design, seamless digital interactivity, and non-commissioned product specialists. Customers have the flexibility to shape their entire experience, starting from the first inquiry to the arrival of their Polestar. On-site test drives are available, and customers can opt for convenient deliveries to their homes or offices.

Those wishing to order or reserve a Polestar can complete the process on the Polestar website, either in the comfort of their own home in their own time or, with the guidance of a Polestar Specialist in the Space.

Head of Polestar UK, Jonathan Goodman said: “We are delighted to be opening our first Space in Scotland in what will be a transformative year for our Brand. The timing couldn’t be better with the updated Polestar 2 available to customers now and Polestar 3, our luxury SUV and Polestar 4 our SUV coupé arriving later this year.”

On Polestar’s launch, Deputy Chief Executive of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, Charandeep Singh BEM said: “The electric car market is demonstrating immense innovation in technology, design and sustainability, enabling the journey to net-zero.

“I was delighted to join Jonathan and the Polestar team to open Polestar’s first Space in Scotland. The state of the art facility will transform the customer experience and will add great value to the Silverburn shopping centre offering.”

Polestar Silverburn opened its doors to the public on Friday 22nd March.
