The countdown begins for Glasgow’s All-Energy 2026

All-Energy, the UK’s leading low-carbon energy and renewables event, returns to the SEC Glasgow in a matter of weeks as it brings together industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to explore the next phase of the country’s clean energy transition on 13-14 May 2026.

The event, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will feature a refined conference programme and new show floor features that accurately represent the current topics facing the industry today.

Key themes include offshore wind, transmission reform, skills and workforce, supply chain and circular economy, with opening plenaries scheduled for each morning of the event.

For the first time, there is a dedicated Strategic Summit committee to drive meaningful collaboration across the UK’s clean energy sector and deliver its streamlined programme. The group of 29 leading experts from across the energy sector have helped to shape the direction and focus of the conference.

Anam Khan, All-Energy Event Manager at RX Global said: “This year’s All-Energy includes a number of exciting updates that have been implemented with attendees at the forefront of our thinking, ensuring we have created a targeted programme which addresses industry priorities.

“The Strategic Summit Committee has brought a breadth of expertise to create a more refined and engaging conference experience which I’m excited to see come to fruition across the two-day event. By convening senior decision-makers from across the industry, it will ensure the agenda is not only reflective of current priorities but also responsive to what’s coming next, ultimately creating a more dynamic, informed and valuable experience for attendees.”

Appealing to the business community

A ministerial address is scheduled for both days of the event, setting out the Government’s vision for scaling industrial decarbonisation. Michael Shanks MP, Minister of State for Energy at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, will deliver a keynote address the opening day’s plenary session before Chris Stark CBE, Head of the UK’s Mission for Clean Power, will take to the stage on day two to also present a keynote speech. Day one will also see Fintan Slye, CEO of National Energy System Operator (NESO), deliver a keynote speech to the audience.

While the agenda reflects the breadth of the energy transition with topical sessions across each strand of the sector, there is ample opportunity to attend sessions with a particular business focus.

Highlights from day one of the Strategic Summit programme includes an expert panel discussing De-risking the Energy Transition: Financing Critical Energy Infrastructure, exploring the changes needed in investment risk and weighing up the intricacies and benefits of de-risking versus sharing risk.

Later in the day features Financing the UK Energy Transition that will dial into the estimation that £1.4 trillion needs to be invested in the UK energy transition. This precedes Energy Supply Chain in Transition that involves a focus on how political, regulatory and commercial levers can provide certainty for the investment that’s required, helping to provide a full-circle knowledge base and understanding of the current financial outlook.

The show floor theatre also includes an abundance of sessions that each delve into an array of popular topics discussed by industry leaders. The Innovation Show Floor Theatre will showcase Navigating Value in Renewables to address the global energy shift towards renewable energy and how the associated data is analysed effectively while the Future Talent Show Floor Theatre will include a number of sessions on skills, including how to bridge the clean energy skills gap.

Registration is open and tickets can be booked at www.all-energy.co.uk/bscot. A full list of speakers and the conference programme can be found on the All-Energy website.
