Would you know what to do if a colleague or friend had an asthma attack in front of you? If not, read on.

Scotland’s only dedicated Asthma Charity, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation provides evidence-based health information, confidential advice, and support to people with asthma, their families, and carers.  We already collaborate with companies, delivering workshops and Asthma Awareness E-Learning Training to employees, including First Aiders.

However, it is not just about what we as a charity can deliver to your business, but what your employees can gain from your investment in our organisation.  We see the genuine interest and engagement of employees in understanding the challenges faced by colleagues living with asthma and allergies, taking up opportunities to support our work by attending events and fundraising.

We would welcome a discussion about partnership opportunities and how your business can benefit from investing in our projects and initiatives. Lunch and Learn sessions are just one way that we can support your business in their commitment to employee education and community engagement.

Every 10 seconds someone has a life-threatening asthma attack, and three people die from asthma attacks in the UK every day, with families torn apart by grief.  90% of asthma deaths are preventable. Our mission is to stop avoidable asthma deaths, raise awareness of what to do when someone has an asthma attack and support asthma sufferers in managing their condition.  The more we can do in the community and business engagement, the more we can help save lives.
